Disclaimer and Terms & Conditions for Participation in BESCOM’s Land Aggregator Portal for setting up EV charging station

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has been designated by the Government of Karnataka as the State Nodal Agency for facilitating the establishment of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure across the State

BESCOM’s role is limited to providing a facilitation platform (Land Aggregator Portal) that connects interested landowners with prospective Electric Vehicle Charge Point Operators (CPOs) for the purpose of setting up Public EV Charging Stations (EVCS) or Battery Swapping Stations.

BESCOM does not bear any responsibility or liability for:

• Establishment, operation, or maintenance of charging infrastructure,
• Commercial negotiations or revenue-sharing arrangements,
• Safety, performance, or quality of installations,
• Contractual terms or dispute resolution between landowners and private CPOs.

By submitting land details on this portal, the landowner acknowledges and agrees that BESCOM’s role is purely facilitative, with no involvement or obligation beyond connecting interested parties.

If the submitted location is found technically feasible, the concerned CPO will directly contact the landowner for discussions and for executing agreements related to the establishment of EV Charging Stations or Battery Swapping Stations.
